New Delhi, Jan 8: The Kolkata bound Indo-Bangladesh Maitree Express crashed into a car, claimed the lives of five people in Dhaka on Sunday.
The incident occurred at 10 a.m. in Gazipur district near Dhaka when the car got stalled on the tracks while it was passing an unmanned level crossing and rammed into Indo-Bangladesh Friendship Express from Dhaka, reported the police official.
None of the passengers got injured in the accident, added the officials.
Rail service in parts of Bangladesh remained suspended due to the accident.
The country has one of the highest rates in train accidents.
