New Delhi, January 10: After being sacked from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), it looked like the innings for MLA from Bijwasan, Devinder Sehrawat was over but it turned out to be the other way around.
Devinder Sehrawat is rather rising as a lone wolf and he is currently busy in the Gramin Utsav being held in Mahipalpur area in the capital city.
Talking to India Samvad, Sehrawat said that other than cricket which is already a hit in the country, 'dangal' league will also be organised as a part of the Gramin Utsav. The people from various parts of the city especially villages located in the outskirts are already flocking the place.
The youths from the prominent Jat and Gujjar community can be spotted coming forward for different competitions. The event is being organised by Mahipalpur Premier League. For the cricket league, the winners with be bestowed with prize money worth lakhs and other the man of the series will be awarded a bike.
Also, the regional singers including Sapna Chaudhary, who is pretty famous in Haryana and Delhi, will be performing at the function to woo the crowd. In a speech at the Gramin Utsav, Sehrawat said that they plan to take the program to an international level.
Inspired from Aamir Khan's recent blockbuster 'Dangal,' he mentioned they will invite wrestlers from all around the world and hold a tournament in New Delhi. On the same lines, a rural fashion show is also in the pipeline in which women will dress up in the traditional outfits of their respective regions.
He mentioned that they are still working on developing the area and will soon be able to provide minimum facilities to players and the crowd.
