New Delhi, January 9: Sidelined by Akhilesh Yadav, Amar Singh finally exploited Shivpal to make a return into Samajwadi Party. Amar Singh manipulated his way by promising Shivpal the Chief Minister's chair by early 2016.
Amar Singh also ventured with Mulayam Singh Yadav's second family and assured his daughter-in-law of a party ticket and bright future in SP's power share.
Subsequently, Amar Singh came close to Netaji's second wife Sadhana Yadav who was already uncomfortable with Akhilesh's meteoric rise in past couple of years.
A series of yagya were organised for Shivpal Yadav with the sole objective of unseating Akhilesh from CMO. Swami KailashNand of Haridwar organised a huge yagya ritual in Haryana. Later a similar yagya for Shivpal was held in Rajasthan.
Shivpal also sought the help of Pramod Krishna of Sambal in this connection. Later an MLC close to Shivpal organised another big tantra yagya at his farmhouse in Noida.
Sources said that one if the biggest tantra mantra rituals were held secretly in Mirzapur. However, this Yagya held in early-mid 2016, was leaked to Akhilesh Yadav.
The state intelligence swung into action and traced the mahants who organised this huge maha yagya.
The mahant and his disciples were summoned to CM 's office and very discreetly Akhilesh came to know about Shivpal and Amar Singh, sinister plan to dethrone him.
Akhilesh took this matter to his father But by that time the trio of Amar Shivpal and Sadhana Gupta had brainwashed Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Soon after this Akhilesh decided to leave his house where he shared a portion with father's second family.
The feud between the father-son duo, which has become a part of the news for the last few months, came to light after Akhilesh Yadav expelled his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav from the post of state unit president. A row erupted with this as Mulayam Singh started taking back ministers expelled by Akhilesh and suspending those close to him.
Things were seemingly fine within the party with everyone back in their place but it didn't last for long as Party supremo expelled his own son and Chief Minister, and his main strategist (and cousin) Ram Gopal Yadav from the party for six years on January 30, 2016.
Akhilesh Yadav was taken back into the party on the next day but was expelled again. Finally, the Samajwadi Party suffered a split and the duo had been fighting for its name and symbol- 'cycle' since then.
